FBG Partners with Fresh Food Connect

Be a FBGrower Volunteer or Grow at Home

With prices going up on all food items and more people needing the food safety net of the Food Banks, we are asking those who can't volunteer in a Food Bank Growers garden to bring some of their extra produce they are growing at home to the food bank.
Fresh Food Connect is an "app" that facilitates food distribution.
If you have too many zuchinni...
- Sign up for the app on your phone.
- Log in and see where you can donate based on your zip code.
- Note home many approximate pounds your bringing in and to which drop off point.
- That's it! When the day/time comes - go drop off your produce.
It's a simple bridge to bringing more food to those who need it most while making the most of the abundance of food we can grow in our county. Climate change hasn't hit us yet, but has hit the majority of the United States with floods, wind, drought, fire... those disasters are part of the reason prices are so high. By growing our own culture of local, fresh food, we help to stabilize our own needs.
