We woke up to rain -- the drizzling, miserable, soak ya to the bone kind. By noon the skies went dry(ish) and Port Townsendites turned out by the thousands to be in the Rhody parade, or on the curb cheering everyone else on. How can you not love this fun community?!?
Once again the FBG crew walked with theJefferson Community Foundation, wearing our veggie best and giving out seed packets along the way thanks to Barbara Tusting's throwback to "Cigarette Girls" (top left picture) now turned Seed Dispensary. She and Mary Beth Haralovich repackaged bulk seeds into mini packets with our name on them which then she, Bonnie Obremski, Kathy Ryan, and Noreen Andrews took them to the crowds.
Thank you JCF for supporting us, the FBG parade walkers and especially the cheering crowds who appreciate freshly grown food.
