Thank you. Thank You. THANK YOU!

Kevin, Lindsay, Hilary, Eve, Lynn, Milly, Keith, Eric, Lee, Brad, Mike, Bonnie, Mary,  and Candice  put in overtime on Tuesday to shine up the Salish Coast Elementary Production and Classroom gardens with managers Neil and Leta... Then the sky opened up and POURED everything it's been holding back for three months.

The next day Mike, Keith, and Neil assembled a Root Washer to make pounds of carrots, beets, and potatoes kitchen ready. Arriving soon is a cardboard perforating machine to turn the school's deluge of boxes into "brown" compost to balance off the "green" compost coming from the garden.

Parents and students can walk through the results at the August 31 Back-to-School open house. The gardens will also be open to the public during the Farm Tour on September 16 and 17.
